Easter with Manila

Quite frankly, living at the other end of the metro has prevented me from exploring good old Manila. And so when the opportunity to visit the area happened last Easter Sunday, I was all up and giddy for it.

The day-trip started with Divisoria. Given that it was a long weekend and that majority was out of town, it was still surprising to see this massive hawker center filled with shoppers. We went to 168 and 999 (shopping malls) where I got to see cheap deals (mostly retro and grunge clothes) from Thailand. I need to go back there soon for some legit haul.

Next stop was Lucky Chinatown, and trust me when I say that that place felt like a portal to Mainland (and trust me when I say, again, I mean it as a complement).

Also, got to check out a bit of Ongpin.

After all the walking, good thing there was Tasty Dumplings with their famous pork chops to fill in our stomachs. Ya'll need to visit this place.

And probably the highlight of that day was a tour around the UST campus. One thing that makes this school aesthetically majestic is the architecture and the over all environment. The place certainly feels like a completely different place at all. I am in love with the campus.

It was definitely an amazing experience. Can't wait to be back soon. J

Back to reality, current motto for this sem.

Out of the Dungeon

The past three months was a living hell. But thank God for these moments of happiness and utter joy. :))

Goofy

Almost done with this hell of a sem! Woohoo, I seriously can't wait for my non-existent summer break. Anyhoo, some of the crimes I've been doing for the past few weeks:

So, yeah.

Out and About

Woah, it's the last day of November! That means: (1) December's next, (2) the year's about to end, and (3) I've got 31 days to cram my resolution! (never did, never will).

But seriously, this year's gone way too fast (like every other year, actually). Anyhoo, some of my November highlights!

I. Road Trip

Went to visit my departed last November 1st, and I got to sneak a vid passing through Initao Forest. I just love the cool breeze whenever we pass this area. :))

II. HOME

Had a blast during sem break! Saw most of my good old high school friends and strolled all over my hometown.

III. Keeping up with the Giants and More

Joined a day trip adventure by ASEC last November 17. We went to Rizal to witness the amazing Higantes Festival plus side trips to an art museum and a historical landmark.

Henry Sy is just every-freaking-where. HAHA

Santa Claus: All shapes and sizes

Surprise guest appearance by Vice. lol

Man on action. He was awesome!

Most favorite painting.
I think this cost 1.6M if I remember correctly.

I'm so looking forward to December! Let's make the most out of this, okay? :)
